CeraVela is a product of Junior Achievement's Company Program. Junior Achievement is a not-for-profit organization that helps young people learn about owning a business.

JA's Company Program is a 18-week expedition that teaches entrepreneurialship through experience. Students from grades 9-12 can join the program for free.

The program is sponsored through corporate partners that generously provide funding and a workspace for the company. Most importantly, they provide employees from the organization that act as volunteer mentors and are referred to as Advisors.

Along with entrepreneurial experience, JA's Company Program offers a variety of different networking opportunities and workshops for Company Program members to attend such as the Governor's Dinner, the Student Management Training, the JA Trade Show, and many more! These networking opportunities allow program members to meet people in other Junior Achievement companies or employees from large organizations.

Junior Achievement also has many awards and scholarships that are given to program members to recognize them for their hard work and commitment. Awards can be given to both individuals and groups. Individual award winners will be invited to attend the JA Youth Success Summit in the summer.

JA awards over $40,000 in scholarships each year to Company Program members. Some of the scholarships available are The Seymour Schulich entrepreneurship scholarship and the Al Beech Memorial award.
